At Tim’s Truck Capital and Auto Sales in Epsom, NH, we love Thanksgiving. However, we don’t love how much we tend to indulge on turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pie and more. That’s why many of us have signed up for the 8th Annual Concord Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. It’s a great way to get some exercise in before you gorge at the Thanksgiving table and it’s a lot of fun. Plus, a portion of the registration fee goes to Open Table Food Pantry and area youth running programs. Runners are encouraged to bring hearty soups and boxes of cereal to donate, as well. A lot of runners wear costumes, too!
This family friendly event starts at 8:30 a.m. sharp on Thanksgiving morning. Race-day registration starts at 7:30 a.m., and pre-registration closes Friday, 11/17 at 11 p.m. There is a limit of 1,500 t-shirts, so we recommend pre-registration. It’s only $30 to participate, or $35 for same day registration.
Medals are presented to the top three male and females runners overall, and there are winners in various age groups, as well.
