If so, no worries! It’s pretty easy to fix this yourself. The first step is to look online or in your vehicle’s owner’s manual for the type of replacement bulb you need. Then, just head to your handy auto parts store and pick it up. If you have any questions, the sales staff will happily help you. You can usually remove the lights pretty easily. They just pop out of the back side of their housing. Simply unplug the old bulb and slide in the new one.

Driving On Icy Roads in NH
Winter is coming and that means snowy, icy roads. So how can you stay safe while you’re driving? The service experts at Tim’s Truck Capital And Auto Sales in Epsom NH put together a list of tips about driving safely on icy winter roads.
First of all, do you know the fastest speed your should drive when on an icy road? No, it doesn’t have anything to do with how experienced you are at driving in icy conditions. No one should drive over 45 mph. In fact, the experts recommend you drive at much slower speeds. If there’s black ice, you shouldn’t drive faster than 10 mph! Here’s a great rule of thumb: if you are fishtailing or sliding at all, you are going too fast.
A lot of accidents on icy roads are caused by a driver being overconfident about his or her driving skills. When it comes to ice, all drivers are in the same situation. The slower you drive, the better. After all, with accidents caused by icy conditions, there are almost always multiple vehicles involved. One car slides into another, and then another.
- It’s always a good idea to check the weather forecast before you get in your car, so you know what to expect.
- Wearing a seat belt is even more important when the roads are icy. Every year there’s a high number of accident fatalities from minor accidents on ice that could have been prevented by wearing a seat belt.
- Don’t stop for accidents or even stranded vehicles. While we’re usually inclined to be a Good Samaritan, pulling over on an icy road can cause more problems, and accidents, than it solves. Just call the authorities at 911 and let them know the situation, and drive on by.
